EMILE ACAR & FILS Engineering Excellence Since 1929

Emile Acar & Fils have been designing, building, maintaining and repairing Deutz Diesel Powered Generating Sets since 1959. We are the sole agent for DEUTZ AG in Lebanon.

Our company was established in 1929 by EMILE ACAR (electro-mechanical engineer), as a workshop which was engaged in the field of electro-mechanical engineering.

Since the beginning of our business relations with DEUTZ, our firm expanded to incorporate four more partners, namely: ROGER ACAR in 1960 (mechanical engineer) and MICHEL ACAR in 1966 (electrical engineer). In 1998, MARK ACAR joined the company as R&D Manager. In 2003, EMILE R. ACAR joined the company as Electrical Engineer.

Our sets are running in all types of establishments including universities, hospitals, industrial centers, construction sites, banks, television and radio stations, and telecommunication centers, supplying prime and standby power.

We supply sets spanning the entire Deutz range, from 30 to 8000kVA, coupled to Stamford alternators, assembled either locally or in Europe. Our fully equipped, purpose built workshop and comprehensive spare parts department are also on hand to cater for almost any request, including those in the automotive, marine, or construction domain.

Our electrical and electronics department is equipped for the design and manufacture of a wide array of engine management, power distribution and automated control systems, including: mutual standby, parallel operation, load sharing and mains failure solutions, to ensure that your genset runs the way you want at all times.

We offer a complete re-manufacturing service for engines and alternators, involving an integral strip-down, thorough inspection and repair, followed by a no expense spared rebuild using only original, new spare parts. These sets are subsequently supplied with an "as new" warranty. Indeed it is not uncommon to see our re-manufactured sets running for as many as 60,000 hours!
